His protrayal of the artisan of literature was dead on, as the slightly neurotic and understandably in the moment book author. Mr. Wynn handle the load of the mantle of comedic moments, however and left some moments for Mr. Douglas to gnaw on. Sometimes an evening calls for a flick like that. I liked seeing Kirk Douglas in a role I'm not accustomed to seeing him in. I think he handled it pretty well.
